The BMW E61 Diversity Module is responsible for amplifying the key signal and the radio antenna.
Without it, the car will not open / close remotely and / or the radio will not find the stations.
In the case of the BMW E61, the failure of this module is a common error.
The reason for this is that the black plastic housing cover surrounding the component becomes deformed, the seals age and deteriorate, as a result moisture enters, which then corrodes the components and the PCB.
Error identification
The vehicle becomes unopenable by remote control.

Attention! Before ordering the Antenna Amplifier Module, ask a professional for assistance in locating the fault. The error can even be caused by a faulty key or a damaged cables.
The car is able to used with removed Diversity Module, but the radio, remote control and keyless start functions do not work.
